DIFFERENCES IN THE CATEGORY CLASSIFICATION OF ADJECTIVES IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES
Keywords:
personal adjectives, gradation, word formation, affixation, combinatorial word formation, polyfunctionality.Abstract
In this article, both in English and in Uzbek, the level category is expressed morphologically and lexically. However, in the Uzbek language, unlike English, words were analyzed in which the accusative case is not expressed through morphological forms. For example, in the Uzbek language the number of qualityforming affixes exceeds 50, but some of these affixes are considered mutually significant. But these synonyms cannot be used as alternatives to each other. Therefore, the possibilities of combining them are narrower than in English.
